We’re delighted to welcome the music of the Downtown Merrylegs back to Bassinaud. This Paris-based folk rock five-piece, fronted by singer/songwriter Charlie Seymour, have created a stunning array of great songs, brought to life on stage with fiddle, mandolin, ukulele, accordion, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keyboards, bass and drums — ensuring their live shows are every bit as impressive as their recorded works.
On Sunday 16th June, Charlie and violinist Melissa Cox will perform Charlie’s songs and others from their repertoire. These two have been playing together on and off since meeting in Paris many years ago and never disappoint.
“A cosmopolitan soul with an underlying British feel”
“A beguiling collection from a singer-songwriter of real stature”
